Terrance Orton, LCSW -Clinical Director (He/Him)
I have a passion for working with people from all walks of life. Oftentimes we may feel alone or like our problems are so great they cannot be overcome. Other times people feel a lot of shame about reaching out for help and see it as a sign of weakness or failure. I can assure you that you are not alone in your suffering or with your specific problems. Change, connection, and relief from mental and emotional suffering is possible. It is important to remember that we humans are social creatures and that reaching out for connection and support is built into who we are, not a sign of weakness.
As a Mental Health Therapist, I love hearing about and gaining understanding of others. With that understanding we can work together to implement skills, different perspectives, and a number of clinical interventions to encourage change in your life. I have been trained in many therapy modalities including EMDR, and use it as my primary intervention.
I'm certain that I'd like to meet you and try to understand what you're dealing with. Hopefully we get to meet!

Life can be overwhelming and challenging. We can try to plan all aspects in our lives, but are often faced with many unexpected stressors. You are not alone if you experience feeling stressed or overwhelmed with what may seem like everyday life. Maybe you are looking for help to manage your emotions or your child is currently struggling with their own emotions. Maybe you are seeking help to create or strengthen relationships with family and friends. It can be difficult to reach out and ask for help, but you are taking the first crucial step in making changes to have the life you deserve.
I have a deep passion for working with kids, teens, adults, couples, and families. My goal is to empower them to be the best versions of themselves. I use empirically supported modalities of treatment such as, Cognitive Behavioral, EMDR, Experiential Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy.
I believe everyone deserves to have the life they envision and I am here to help provide help and support in making those changes. You do not have to be alone on this journey.

Preston Surrage, LCMHC- Therapist (He/Him)
In the journey into adult life, there are inherent pressures associated with child development, including anxiety and the struggles with self-image. I entered the mental health field because I can empathize with these pressures and wanted to help others experiencing similar difficulties. I enjoyed being a support system to family and peers; also feeling that a key component to an effective support system is guidance to discover solutions, I translated that passion into my adult life.
Life can be difficult. Learning to navigate all the stresses and hardships can be daunting. I use Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as a clinical orientation when working with clients, where they learn positive coping strategies and skills to gain fulfillment in life, taking control of their future.

I believe strength comes through vulnerability – the willingness to allow someone into the space of what you feel and think, asking for and accepting help along the way. I believe change can only come through choice, and I hold space for my clients to make that choice. I approach therapy from a person-centered perspective, believing and valuing that everyone has their own set of needs and strengths. I employ a variety of methods in my treatment, primarily focusing on cognitive-behavioral and trauma-competent (EMDR) techniques and practices.
I received my Bachelor of Science in Social Work at Weber State University in 2012, and went on to receive my Master of Social Work at University of Utah in 2013. I have worked with various age ranges, providing a range of services. During my graduate internship, I worked with at-risk adolescents at Mill Creek Youth Center, providing individual, group, and family therapy. After graduating, I worked at YCC Family Crisis Center where I provided individual trauma-based therapy for adolescent and adult victims and survivors of sexual assault/abuse. I worked in Children and Youth at Davis Behavioral Health from 2014 to 2025, providing individual, family, and group therapy, including serving as the primary group therapist for the agency's day treatment program from 2015 to 2021.

Paula Randall, CSW-Therapist (She/Her)
Trauma can leave us feeling disconnected—from ourselves, our intuition, and the inner wisdom that guides us. I believe in the innate ability to heal, but life experiences can cloud that connection. My passion is helping individuals rediscover self-trust, reconnect with lost parts of themselves, and move toward healing with greater awareness and compassion.
As a trauma-informed therapist, I work with individuals in a safe, non-judgmental, and validating space to explore their experiences. Healing isn’t something you have to do alone—I take a collaborative approach, walking alongside you as you integrate different parts of yourself with care and curiosity.
I am honored to support LGBTQIA+ individuals, providing an inclusive and compassionate space for self-discovery and healing. No matter where you are in your journey, I meet you with understanding, respect, and authenticity.
Using evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches—including Parts Work, TF-CBT, ACT, CBT, mindfulness, and somatic techniques—we will explore the patterns, beliefs, and emotions that shape your experience. Together, we will gently uncover and reshape what no longer serves you, helping you cultivate resilience and a deeper connection to yourself.
I offer afternoon and evening appointments, with both in-person and telehealth options available to fit your needs.
Whether you feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected, I am here to support you—at your pace—toward healing, wholeness, and self-discovery.

Miah Padmore, CSW-Therapist (She/Her)
Hello and welcome. I believe every person has the capacity for growth, healing, and meaningful change. My approach is rooted in person-centered and strengths-based practices, meaning I prioritize creating a compassionate, collaborative space where clients feel respected, understood, and empowered.
I view therapy as a partnership. My role is to walk alongside clients as they explore their experiences, develop greater self-awareness, and build on the strengths and skills they already possess. I strive to meet each person with empathy, authenticity, and nonjudgment while honoring their unique values, identities, and life experiences.
I am passionate about working with children, teens, and adults. I primarily use modalities such as Child-Centered Play Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness practices. Together, we will work toward goals that support confidence, emotional well-being, healthy relationships, and lasting positive change.

At the heart of counseling are simple human needs: to be seen, heard, and understood. I believe meaningful growth happens when people have a safe place to talk openly, explore challenges, and recognize strengths they may not see in themselves. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable being yourself and know that you do not have to face life's challenges alone.
Kindness, empathy, and respect guide my approach to counseling. I believe every person has strengths they can use to build on, and I enjoy helping clients identify those strengths while developing the tools and confidence to move forward. I work with children, teens, and adults from a variety of backgrounds and experiences.
As an American Sign Language user, I am passionate about serving Deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals and helping make mental health services more accessible. I am also committed to providing an affirming and supportive environment for members of the LGBTQ+ community.
One of my favorite things about counseling is getting to know each person's unique story. It would be an honor to support you as you navigate challenges, discover your resilience, and create meaningful change in your life.
